TRUTH FLOWS FREE Pride: prīd/ noun “A feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from
one’s own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired.”
For the month in which we feature San Diego Pride, we had the honor of spotlighting the fantastic photography
of San Diego-based photographer, Ken Sergi. A gifted imaginer, with a unique eye for capturing the male figure, his company is known in local circles simply as Serg Studios. His artful imaginings offer The Rage Monthly’s readers a series of stunning images taken in the vastness of the California desert. Beautiful photos that feature a diverse group of models, brandishing the colors of Pride: Red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for serenity and purple for spirit. Therainbowstandards of our adopted symbol, there to remind us not only of the beautiful diversity that makes up our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender brothers and sisters, but of the breadth and power of the LGBT social movement. We wanted to know more about the drive and passion that powers his creativity, take a look at the following page for his answers to the questions we posed, in order to get to know him and his passion for photography a little better.
