The 2017 Summer Reading Challenge ‘Animal Agents’ starts on 1st July! The challenge is to read six books. Children will receive a host of stickers and a collectors’ folder to put them in. For completing the challenge, they will get a medal and certifi cate. It’s free to take part and the library will be running many free events/craft activities during the holidays.

Children’s Author Event with Celia Leofsy Monday 31st July, 11am-12pm
Listen to Celia read from ‘The Company of Goblins’. Learn about goblin mythology and make some fun crafts. Free event for 5-12 years, please book.
Rhyme Time with the Children’s Centre Mondays, 10.30-11.30am
Singing, stories and activities for babies and toddlers. Term time only.
Knit and Natter
Every Friday morning, 10am-12pm Bring your craft projects to the library! Friendly group of knitters and crafters.
Reminiscence Group Friday 7th July, 2-4pm Come and join us for a cup of coffee and reminisce about times past. Drop-in session.
Carers’ Support Group Friday 14th July, 10-11am
For carers to come together for a chat and support. Run with Corfe Mullen Dementia Friendly community.
Craft Club, Library Gets Lively Every Saturday morning, 10.30am-12pm Fun craft club with a different craft activity and story every week, for ages 2-8 years. Drop-in session.
