Volunteers Needed at Poole Hospital
Poole hospital has over 250 volunteers from the local area, who make a tremendous difference to the experience of patients.
We have people in a broad range of areas in the hospital and at the present time we are particularly seeking more volunteers to:
• meet patients coming to the hospital for appointments and provide directions or accompany patients to their destination
• help on wards for older patients providing support such as refreshments, checking meal options and errands.
We are particularly keen to have more people that can help during late afternoons and at weekends.
Most volunteers come in to help between 2-3 hours a week. You do not need to have any particular skills, but you do need to be a kind and caring person who is keen to help.
