THE BROMSGROVE Society Summer School will once again be held in July at Bromsgrove School. Six courses over three days celebrate the rich agricultural, industrial, architectural and cultural his- tory of Bromsgrove and district. Students can participate over one,
two or three days. Choose between two parallel lecture streams, some of which also offer optional afternoon visits. July 11: Churches around Bromsgrove, and A E Housman

CATSHILL CARERS Group is a group set up specifically to offer one afternoon a month of respite, socialising and occasional speakers to carers in the area. It meets on the last Tues each month in the coffee bar area of Catshill Methodist Church Centre in Golden Cross Lane from 2.30pm for about 1.5 hrs. All carers welcome, as well as those who used to care for someone who may have passed away or is now in a care facil- ity. Tea and biscuits or cake provided – no charge.
