Their intriguing store is a place of countless minerals and gems of all kinds, including rare and expensive specimens to the more economical ones that the “just looking” customer will find easy to afford in their first visit. The O’Learys oftentimes mine their own crystals, but also use a worldwide network of connections to find special and rare gems and minerals that may otherwise be unavailable to the average crystal enthusiast, collector, store owner, practitioner or entre- preneur. Many are introduced to crystals after reading a book, taking a metaphysical course that requires them to be used as tools in that discipline or they are just drawn to the powerful energies emanating from these beautiful, physical specimens of nature’s gifts; others are attracted to the stunning colors of these rare finds. Some of the clientele just want to add positive ener- gy to their space after finding out which properties each crystal can release, or just to brighten up their home with a decorative flair. Many customers are in the metaphysical field and use these dynamic tools for massage purposes, to cleanse and ener- gize decks of readers’ cards, for Feng Shui activations and changing the chi (energy)within a space or as a practical tool for Reiki practitioners. Books, sage, incense, original jewelry cre- ations by local artists, aromatherapy oils, Himalayan salt lamps, sun catchers and vintage beads and buttons for jewelry-making are available in this diverse little corner of paradise. Expert jew- elry repairs are also offered. Patrons most often find exactly what they are looking for in this sacred space. Classes are offered on many topics.
