GA Solicitors invests in team

GA Solicitors, an innovative Plymouth law firm, has invested in its team by recruiting an experienced personal injury solicitor and an additional legal assistant to support its growing employment team. Harry Smyth is a skilled solicitor with more than ten years of

experience in dealing with personal injury claims. He will now work alongside the firm’s established personal injury team to support victims in the city and nationally. On joining GA Solicitors, Harry said: “I have spent ten years working

for regional law firms and also in-house for insurance companies. This has allowed me to obtain a detailed understanding of the personal injury sector from both perspectives. I now look forward to putting this experience to good use and helping GA’s clients to receive the support and compensation they deserve.” Helen Parnell has joined the employment team as a Legal Assistant.

She will work closely with the firm’s employment specialists and its clients, dealing with businesses of all sizes, as well as senior employees and individuals. Stephen Ramsden, Managing Partner, said: “GA continues to invest in

its team to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients. The legal profession is based around people and their relationships so recruitment is a key part of the firm’s business strategy. “We are delighted with both Harry and Helen and they are already

proving to be welcome additions to the firm. We are hoping to secure further expansion as we recruit for a company commercial solicitor and a residential conveyancing solicitor. As a modern law firm which embraces innovation, we are also actively encouraging graduates to join GA, and have a trainee solicitor vacancy. We invest heavily in our staff to ensure GA is truly one of the best firms in the city for which to work.” With more than 200 years of heritage, GA Solicitors is a leading Plymouth law firm with 77 members of staff offering guidance across seven specialist departments: business; family; employment; dispute resolution; wills, trusts & probate; conveyancing and personal injury.

New offices accomodate growing web design team

PL1 Web Design have just moved into a bigger office and expanded their team. The new team includes Neil, who will be working on website design and social media, and Reuben, who will be working on customer liaison and content writing. The new office is three times the size of their old

One of the new services brought in since their recent expansion is Pay Monthly, enabling businesses with limited funds to spread the cost of a new website over a period of time. PL1 also offer training on the content management systems they provide with their websites allowing businesses to maintain their own website in the future.
