Bearsted & Thurnham Carnival & Fayre 2017
BEARSTED and Thurnham Carnival and Fayre will be hitting the high note once again this year when the theme will be “The Magic of the Musicals”.
The fayre, which will be celebrating its 38th anniversary, takes place on Bearsted Green from 1pm on Saturday, June 24, and promises all the fun of a traditional village event with all the usual favourites and a few surprises.
Attractions will include the traditional mix of up to 100 stalls, as well as rides, refreshments, music, fancy
dress, arena events and crowning of the carnival princess.
The fayre will again be officially opened by Heart FM radio presenter Claire Lawson, who performed the honours last year. She will present the prizes to the winners in the carnival procession, followed by the opening ceremony.
