Henry was appointed as joint CEO to work alongside Layton until a permanent appointment could be made, but it has now confirmed that Henry will take over the role. Henry will commence

his new appointment as the company’s 14th assay master on Monday 3 April, having originally joined the group to restructure its quality management system in September 2014. Since then he has project-

managed the BAO’s relocation to Moreton Street, as well as leading the management of its Indian offshore sub-office and supporting the development of its quality management processes and bespoke management systems. Kate Hartigan, chairman,

said: “We are delighted to welcome Doug as CEO and assay master as successor to Stella. He has worked with us on several key projects such as the relocation and the launch

of our sub-office in India, and contributed significantly to their successful delivery. “Doug’s appointment will ensure both a seamless transition of leadership for the AnchorCert Group and also continued focus on the achievement of our strategic objectives.”

Layton, who will resume her

role as one of the guardians at the BAO, is expected to provide independent consultancy to the trade.
