Julie Weatherly, Esq.
Julie Weatherly, Esq., is owner of Resolutions in Special Education, Inc., with offi ces in Alabama and Florida. For over 30 years, she has provided legal and consultation services to school districts and other agencies on educating students with disabilities. She has been a member of the faculty for many national and state legal institutes and is a frequent speaker at special education law conferences. In June of 1996, Julie appeared on “60 Minutes” to discuss the cost of meeting the legal requirements of the IDEA. In 1998, she was honored by Georgia’s Council for Exceptional Children as the individual who had contributed most to students with disabilities. In April 2012, Julie received the National CASE Award for outstanding service.
Patrick Mulick
Patrick Mulick is a national board-certifi ed teacher and behavior analyst and a certifi ed speaker, trainer and coach with the John Maxwell Leadership Team. He is an educational consultant and works as the autism specialist of the Auburn School District in Washington state. Patrick has committed his work to “lighting it up” for all those who support special needs learners through a hybrid of instruction and inspiration. His resources and strategies have helped make the complex simple, equipping teachers, administrators, therapists, para- educators, and school bus drivers, alike.
