Trade supplier A2B Transfers is striving to give agents more confidence to sell transfers by driving up quality.
The firm said it refreshed 40%
of its product over last winter as it ditched some suppliers and set strict standards for others. Speaking to agent clients at
A2B’s annual ‘summer soirée’ in London last week, chief executive Renaldo Scheepers said he had personally mystery-shopped suppliers in key European short-haul destinations. “This year we are changing
the whole way things work,” said Scheepers, who admitted the transfers specialist had had “some teething problems” in March. Phil Norris, A2B sales director,
said the firm was encouraging shuttle suppliers to use vehicle types that limit transfer times and the number of stops to four. He said improving the
