Teatro Circo: Tickets: 22€. Tickets can be brought at the ticket office at the Nuevo Teatro Circo and the Auditorio El Batel (10am- 2pm & 5pm - 8pm Monday to Friday) or on the internet through ticketmaster. There are a great number of free afternoon concerts in the street called Jazz Callejero. These start at 12.30 in the Plaza del Icue on the 19th and 26th November. Concerts for Off Jazz take place in the evenings in various locations on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 24th, all of these, with just one exception, are free.
For more updated news about local artists and events that are happening all around the Costa Blanca, check out a new Facebook page called ‘Artists Direct Spain’ which is constantly updated to find out the latest news and whereabouts of your favourite local artists and updated news on events as they happen.
It’s still hoped that you’ll be able to enjoy the annual Carols in the Square in Torrevieja on Friday 9th December at 5.30pm. However the Town Hall has yet to give the go ahead so check the local press for more details.
Don’t forget that the 6th to the 8th December are Public Holidays, as the 7th is usually taken as a ‘bridge’ day. Many businesses may also close on the Monday, giving them a break from Saturday 3rd through to the 8th, so plan ahead for your shopping and banking needs. Crime Watch Spain (Vecinos Colaborando) Reg. VG – 08261/2002 advise the community citizens about security matters and help them to report any incidents in their communities to the authorities to try to keep out any intruders.
