IVYS is now ac-
cepting applications for our 7th season. (Children, Teens & Collegiate Stu- dents) The purpose of the Inland Valley Youth Symphony is to enrich the lives
of student musicians with outstanding educational and performance oppor- tunities for all levels, in a nurturing and challenging environment.
IVYS offers
three levels of musical instruction in an orchestral setting. Rehearsals are held on Mondays at Warm Springs Middle School in Murrieta. Engaging Educational Exciting Rewarding Be a part of something bigger than yourself, join today!
4 pm - Prelude (beginning string ensemble) – Class now forming.
5 pm – Junior Youth Symphony (formerly Attacca) – Directed by Scott Merrin
6:30 pm - Inland Valley Youth Symphony – an exciting program for young musicians who are serious about playing classical music in an ad- vanced orchestra! IVYS will be under the musical direction Thomas Kociela, formerly the Assistant Conductor of the Chicago Youth Symphony.
