Pretty With a Courageous Purpose: Brighton’s 2014 Power of Pink

Brighton announces the arrival of their 2014 Power of Pink bracelets – which

have been created by their own designers to support breast cancer charities. Through the years, the company has donated more than $5,300,000. to worthy organizations that are working towards the cure we all hope will come soon. This year’s bracelets will be available from September 26th through the month of October. This year’s bracelet--fashioned after their recently launched Your True Color Joy-

ful Collection--features a Power of Pink commemorative ribbon crafted of bezel-set Swarovski on a pear-shaped, brilliant pink stone. The charm’s other side is just as stunning in its simplicity. In addition, for customers whose dedication to the Power of Pink knows no bounds, they will offer a matching necklace and earrings, as well as a wide array of additional Power of Pink-themed accessories that coordinate beautifully with this year’s bracelet. Brighton will donate more than $500,000 from the sales of the Power of Pink jewelry and accessories to breast cancer charities in 2014. For each $60 Power of Pink bracelet sold, Brighton will donate $5 to breast can-

cer charities and the local store owners will donate another $5 for a total of $10 per bracelet. This year, they’ve added the Coachella Leather Bracelet to their Power of Pink

fund-raising lineup. With the Power of Pink ribbon charm attached, this leather bracelet has a casual, effortless appeal--yet still sends a caring message about this very important cause. For each $43 Coachella Leather Bracelet sold, Brighton will donate $4 to breast

cancer charities and the local store owners will donate another $4 for a total of $8 per bracelet. The local store own-

ers in Temecula have once again chosen Michelle’s Place as their local charity to re- ceive the donations. Breast

cancer

strikes adults of all ages, including many in their 20s and 30s. Each year an estimated 250,000 women and men in the U.S. will be diagnosed. 40,000 American women die each year from breast cancer. With treat- ment breakthroughs from the charities’ con- tinuing research, death rates have been de- creasing each year.

The Temecula Brighton Collectibles store is privately owned by Temecula resi-

dents Craig and Angela Pettitt. The Pettitt’s also own four other Brighton stores: Riverside, Escondido, Palm Desert and El Cajon. Craig and Angela have donated over $125,000. to Breast Cancer awareness since 2003. The cause also took on an added meaning to The Pettitt’s as Angela lost her best friend (a 40 year-old, mother of three) to Breast Cancer Three and ½ years ago. To see their entire line, visit
