n 2013 the ServiceMaster Clean Devon team have much to celebrate as they are the current holders of the Western Morning News ‘Best in Customer Service” award which recognises them for delivering first class customer service.

Jane have owned ServiceMaster Clean Devon for 17 years and now have a team of 16 and a small fleet of distinctive, bright yellow vans.
As Ken explains, this award means much to the team
“Our mission is to be ‘Caring Experts’ and to achieve this the whole team work very hard to ensure the customer feels valued from the first phone call to cleaning completion. Winning the award gave us all a huge boost and reinforced our belief that putting customers first is key”.
ServiceMaster Clean does not just only clean
carpets. Ken explains, “It is true that for private individuals a large proportion of our work is carpet cleaning whether it is in someone’s own home, a holiday cottage or an end of tenancy clean. But we also clean hard floors, upholstered furniture, curtains and rugs.”
Many customers return over and over again and not just private individuals but businesses too. ServiceMaster’s commercial customers include housing associations, professional services, shops, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, building companies, universities and schools - in fact just about anywhere that has a floor! ,
Jane Rudge explains their focus. “We believe in
providing the most thorough cleaning possible and wholeheartedly believe that the way in which the service is provided is just as important as the cleaning services themselves. To continually improve we have invested in staff training, equipment and our workshop facilities”.
Despite being part of a nationally recognised franchise, ServiceMaster Clean Devon is very much a local family business.
