Now that you have chosen your room or area, what objects should you introduce to that space, and why?


Choose photographs or mementos that commemorate you, your loved ones, or your pet(s). In addition, photos of saints, ascended masters or inspiring leaders will bring the qualities they represent into your home. Having a picture of someone who in- spires you can be very comforting during difficult times, as well as an uplifting way to celebrate the infinite potential of life.


When you consider what objects signify spirituality to you, what comes to mind? Star of David, Celtic Cross, angel statuary, Buddha, ankh or the Tao symbol?


Coins are commonly used to signify abundance. Candles and incense, stones, shells, flowers, plants, leaves and pinecones are popular objects for sacred sanctu- aries.


Incorporating nature is a universal way to add soul to a space. A big potted plant adds weight and the presence of life. Take a walk and find some items from nature. Play the music of nature with the sounds of raindrops, waves, a rainforest or whales.
