torical Society mem- bers and friends on April 3 as they tour the Pierce Manse in Concord. In addition to learning about NH’s only President, visitors will experi- ence mid-century life through hands-on objects, visual clues and a guided tour. Franklin Pierce, 14th


President of the United States, and his family owned and lived in this 19th century Greek revival home from 1842- 1848. The tour will also include information about Pierce’s military service, his involvements in state and national poli- tics before election to the presidency, and his presidential accomplishments. Following the 1 ½ hour tour, the group will enjoy lunch at
