Safe Kids Week Bike Helmet Project
In support of Safe Kids Week, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) in partnership with the Maryland SAFE KIDS Campaign donated bicycle helmets to elementary school children at Armistead Gardens Elementary School, in Baltimore, MD, on May 4, 2007. In addition to purchasing the helmets, MTLA members helped fit the children with helmets and explained the importance of wearing bike helmets. Since 2000, MTLA has donated nearly 5,000 helmets to elementary school students in Maryland.
