Kix: Whats your latest mixtape and where can people download it/access it? M Breeze: My Latest Mixtape is Mixing up the Medicine Edition. I enjoy creating Mix Tapes where the songs actually tell a story and speak to the audience listening in. I create Intro’s and several sections of a Mix Tape where I take exerts from songs and combine them in a blend. In result this creates the illusion of sever- al artists speaking and explaining my story, vision or as I like to call it…Pure Imagination.

Kix: You recently merged Prime Tyme Radio, Desert Storm, Tornado Gang and Ruff Ryders together. How did this all come about and is it going well, having to juggle four companes? M Breeze: I have actually combined Prime Tyme Radio, Desert Storm, Tornado Gang and Ruff Ryders all in one, which is very similar to creating one of my mix tapes. Prime Tyme Radio, I own and created. Desert Storm, the Label and DJ Team was originated by DJ Clue, which has recently Influenced Tornado Gang, owned by DJ Don Demarco. Ruff Ryders, Fall 2010, introduced me as a DJ and one of the First On Air Personalities for their Ruff Ryders Indy Radio Station. Combining all the above for a Live On Air 9pm Radio Slot, I produce a very intense and talkative mix show, blend- ing & scratching exclusive records. Is it hard to balance all of the above? Yes of course. With a reputation of legendary talent and records sold, I’m always studying and working hard to become more versatile as a DJ.

Kix: Which artists are you working with at the moment? M Breeze: I am working with many new artists but 2 which I’ve signed for the New Year is “Me Ko-Bane” a dope lyricist, who is actually Slick Rick’s God son and “Ram-One” who’s delivery & sound has already been related to greats such as Notorious Big, Big Pun and more than often Ice Cube. I am very excited to see their future and career as Rap artists.

Kix: We met up when you came to London and it was a pleasure, how was your stay and are you planning on coming

back over again. If so whats the plans? M Breeze: I can actually say I want to Thank Kix Magazine on my recent visit to London. Kix Magazine kept it very British and traditional on our meeting, cheers for that! Honestly I was born in London and have very close family in London as well. My parents lived in London for many years until I was born and before I could even talk moved back to New York. I was raised in New York but can say every time I visit London, I enjoy the culture. I respect London for their R&B, Rap and Grime Scene. I’m actually looking forward to working with any British Artist with talent. Expecting to return to London this April 2011 to celebrate my Birthday, which Kix and all the readers are encouraged to attend.

Kix: We understand that you promote artists on your mixtape. Tell the world about this and how artists can get onto your mixtapes. M breeze: I enjoy breaking new artist on my mixtapes and no offense to any other djs but I don’t just throw a new artist on the bottom of the tape or as a bonus track. I usually will blend a new artist somewhere in the beginning or middle of a tape. I feel like if you’re a new artist and have a hot track you should be able to compete with the Industry. You can usually find your way on to a mix tape by going to www.ALLMYDJS.com or holla at Kix.

Kix: How do you get your Kix? M Breeze: Travelling & meeting new people are my Kix. Nothing like finally checking in, staring out the aircraft taking off, on the road, new cities, signs and great conversation.

Kix: Is there anything you’d like to mention? Last words. M Breeze: Instead of last words, I prefer to say beginning. This is the beginning to hearing more about DJ M Breeze as a DJ, Artist, Manager and Owner. Thanks to Kix Magazine to a Beautiful Start!
