WRVS
WRVS is an independent/ non military organisation that offers support to single and unaccompanied service personnel within the UK and abroad. It provides relaxed, informal, alcohol free leisure facilities where soldiers can spend their free time during the day and evenings and also at the weekends. The role of the WRVS is to:
• help soldiers maintain links with family & friends • offer a listening ear • signpost soldiers to the appropriate point • provide practical and emotional support
There are four WRVS within the Paderborn Garrison, these can be found in:

YOUTH ACTIVITIES/SERVICES We have a youth club in Sennelager and Detmold. For further information on your local Youth Clubs, please contact AWS on 05251 101862.
Detmold Youth Club is held on a Thursday between 1730 – 1900hrs for School Years 5 & 6. Please contact Leader: Sandy Seaton Tel: 05231 6161735 for further details. The HIVE holds a young persons guide, listing the local activities and services.
