Active Sefton inspiring the Community

It is an exciting time in Sefton, with many challenges and opportunities ahead for our Active Sports and Positive Futures Teams. Attracting over £1.0m of investment annually from key partners, we are responsible for the development and delivery of a range of hugely successful and popular sport & physical activity programmes.

Operating at a variety of venues from housing estates to £10m leisure centres, our range of programmes are available to all residents in the borough and are supported by a dynamic and committed volunteer, coach and club infrastructure.

Sefton Positive Futures develops a range of specifi c programmes aimed at children and young people who fi nd themselves at risk of exclusion.

As such, candidates for the Positive Futures posts will need to be highly skilled and motivated in working with the target groups in order to achieve the required outcomes of the project.

We require six exceptional individuals to join our award winning Sport & Recreation Service who will help us maintain our position as the leader in the North West.

Salary up to £21,519 (2 year fi xed term contract)

• Assistant Development Offi cer (Sport & Physical Activity)

Salary up to £16,830 (1 year fi xed term contract)

• Assistant Development Offi cer (Positive Futures)

Salary up to £19,126 (1 year fi xed term contract)

• Active Lifestyle Development Offi cer (Positive Futures) 20 hours

Salary up to £16,830 pro rata (1 year fi xed term contract) This post will provide one to one personal trainer support to disabled children & young people.
