Four Seasons Serengeti has launched new kids’ yoga classes to promote the importance of wellbeing; led by resident yogi, Sajeesh Pazhayidath, children will be taught simple poses in a fun session.
Asia Banyan Tree’s first Cassia-branded property in Phuket offers families cutting-edge design, colourful street art and customised living and dining options and wellness options are available at the nearby Angsana Spa. Iniala Beach House in Thailand has its own private children’s hotel designed to entertain, amuse and engage younger guests. The “land of adventure” hotel is based on an interactive adventure book that allows the children to decide what happens within the story and what adventure and treasures they will find next. The Sarojin in Thailand offers experiential days for families including a day in the life of a local where families shadow locals such as a Thai fisherman, Buddhist monk and elephant mahout to gain a deeper understanding of how they live. There are also cookery classes in Thai street food in conjunction with the Camillian Social Centre, a day centre for disabled children. Panacea Koh Samui has a new concept of child wellbeing called Five Senses for Kids, which includes activities based around each sense such as children’s Thai cooking classes, a butterfly garden, traditional Thai music lessons and creating scent using Thai essential oils.
