Experience the grand side of Mexico

Grand Class is one of the three options available at Grand Velas

A member of Leading Hotels of the World, the Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort will reinvent your idea of “all-inclusive”, with its beautiful suites, gastronomic options and incredible spa.

Set on the warm shores of the Caribbean and surrounded by jungle, Grand Velas Riviera Maya is a magnificent five-star resort, offering a uniquely Mexican take on luxury. The resort prides itself on dining that is

comparable to some of the best restaurants in the world. It is the only family-friendly all-inclusive resort in the Mexican Caribbean to have achieved an AAA Five Diamond rating – the equivalent of receiving three Michelin stars – which was for its restaurant, Cocina de Autor. This is the creation of three acclaimed chefs, Mikel Alonso, Bruno Oteiza and Xavier Perez Stone. Basques by birth, Alonso and Oteiza have lived in Mexico for many years and own two of the best restaurants in Mexico, as listed in Restaurant’s San Pellegrino 100 Best in the World, while Perez Stone has previously been awarded the best chef in Mexico.

Relax, it’s all included There are plenty of other dining options too, including Piaf, which evokes Parisian luxury of the 1940s and focuses on French cuisine, while Frida draws on Mexican roots and is named for artist Frida Kahlo. Italian-Mediterranean cuisine is offered at Lucca and flavours of Asia are on the menu at Sen Lin Restaurant & Bar. Bistro is a French-style restaurant with an oceanfront setting, Azul is a lively, family-friendly restaurant, and Chaka is a casual, open-air restaurant situated amid jungle foliage. And when you don’t feel like venturing out, room service is also covered by the all-inclusive plan too, as is the mini-bar.

Revive and explore Grand Velas Riviera Maya features 539 spacious suites, which are divided into three areas, each boasting its own lobby, management team and reception area. One of the zones is Grand Class which is adults-only and

Finally, the Zen Grand area is fringed by exotic

jungle and appeals to nature-loving families, with its 254 large suites with private patio or terrace and some even with their own plunge pool. The resort’s extensive spa features the very best products and treatments, such as Natura Bisse, Decleor, Sundari and Comfort Zone, along with indigenous products too and there are a whopping 42

treatment rooms, as well as a hydrotherapy section. Surrounded by more than 80 acres of protected mangroves,

jungle and natural freshwater wells, guests can also enjoy a 300-metre stretch of white-sand beach at Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Also included for guests is an ecological tour to experience this unique environment and conservation efforts. And for those who like to explore further afield, Riviera
