Biggest day in luxury travel


TTG Media is once again partnering with Ultratravel to create the biggest day in luxury travel for the UK trade. Taking place on May 23 at The Savoy and


appealing to anyone involved in premium travel, the day includes the Ultratravel Forum in partnership with ttgluxury; Luxpo, the one-to- one agent-supplier meetings showcase; and The ULTRAs Dinner, celebrating the very best companies in the sector. In the morning, 25 agents will meet with 25 suppliers during Luxpo, with supplier places for the event already having sold out within weeks of launching. Handpicked agents who attend Luxpo also


benefit from a complimentary place at the forum. The forum will start off with an overview of the


global economic and political climate and its impact on luxury travel from Daniel Franklin, executive editor of The Economist. Editor of ttgluxury April Hutchinson will


moderate a session on The Luxury Hotel of the Luxpo sponsors


Future, talking to Will Meyer and Gray Davis, co-founders of New York interior design studio Meyer Davis. Joining them will be Anchalika Kijkanakorn of Akaryn Hotel Group. The “presidents panel”, chaired by Chris


Hartley of the Global Hotel Alliance, will hear from Shelly Cline, TCS World Travel; Frank Marrenbach, Oetker Collection; Edie Rodriguez, Crystal Cruises; and Robert Swade, Jumeirah Group. Charles Starmer-Smith, head of travel of the


Telegraph Media Group and editor of Ultratravel, will close the forum by talking to well-known luxury travellers about what the high-end consumer is looking for. The ULTRAs Dinner will be the 10th ULTRAs


event in the UK and reflects the voting of readers of Ultratravel and its partner newspaper, The Daily Telegraph and online.
