Parker Hannifin (stand G40) has chosen the event for the first UK public outing of its new AC10 Series Micro drive and newly extended AC30 Series standard drive ranges, which it says now completes its AC Variable Speed Drive line up. The AC10 Series Micro Drive is designed
to offer straightforward yet adept motor control in everyday applications requiring speed or torque control within the power range of 0.2 to 15kW. The AC30 Series standard drive, meanwhile, has been extended up to 75kW and now features the capability of closed-loop operation. On stand D32, precision motion control specialists Dunkermotoren will be exhibiting its rotary and tubular linear electric motors and associated products. Products will include the ST11 tubular
linear motor which features an integrated controller option that provides machine builders and designers with the benefits of easy integration, reduced and simplified wiring. It features a range of analogue and digital inputs and outputs, with CAN, Profibus and EtherCAT communications protocols as standard.
Another exhibitor is LG Motion. On stand D145, it will showcase two motion system extremes with simple cost- effective and space saving microstepping packages from the USA stepper motor innovator Arcus Technology as well as highly advanced distributed motion systems from the ultra-high performance motion control technology leader Precision MicroDynamics Inc. (PMDi). Arcus Technology’s range includes
integrated miniature stepper motors with built-in microstepping drives from NEMA size 11 to standalone intelligent drives for NEMA 23 motors with I/O capability for small sized machines and motion projects. TÜV SÜD Product Service will launch
a UK-based Safety Integrity Level (SIL) certification service, so that manufacturers of safety-related controls can assure purchasers that their product functions according to the required performance levels. The initial phase of the new TÜV SÜD
service includes a gap analysis process to ascertain if the safety component will achieve the required SIL or performance level, or if other measures must be taken before certification. This will minimise the certification process phase, saving safety- related control manufacturers costs and reducing time to market for newly designed products.
