Stewart Golf celebrate 10 years
B
ritish trolley manufacturer Stewart Golf celebrates 10 years in business this year. Stewart Golf unveiled its first product, the X1
Remote, at the launch of former ambassador Sam Torrance’s autobiography during the end of 2003. The first deliveries were made in March 2004. Since then, the F1 Lithium followed in 2008, and now in 2014, almost 10,000 machines have been made, every one by hand in Gloucestershire. In 2005 the X1R was included in GQ Magazine’s
‘100 coolest things in the world’ feature, ranking above the newly-released Range Rover Sport and David Beckham’s latest football boots. Stewart Golf CEO, Mark Stewart, said, “When we
launched the X1 Remote, we set a new standard of originality, performance and styling. Since then we
have never stopped dreaming, innovating and engineering; our goal has always been simply to create the best products in the industry and set the bar as high as possible. Steve Jobs is quoted as saying ‘innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower’, at Stewart Golf we certainly aspire to be leaders.” To mark the occasion Stewart Golf has added
‘2004-2014’ to their distinctive ‘GB’ crest, which will be used throughout 2014. They have also commissioned a limited edition ‘Keep Calm and Carry Nothing’ poster that will be sent to all stockists in the UK and a good number of the 28 countries that Stewart Golf exports to.

Motocaddy launch their most advanced electric trolley
M
otocaddy has launched their brand new flagship electric trolley that has the same compact-folding design, but also offers all of the brand’s performance features.
The Motocaddy M3 Pro borrows the same two-bar frame as the
continuing M1 Pro– allowing golfers to fold the trolley down to a size not much bigger than an airline hand luggage allowance – but it also provides golfers with a host of features seen on the brand’s S3 Pro model. These include a five-minute ‘lost ball’ timer, ‘round’ timer, clock and battery meter, plus a full-colour digital screen with multiple distance readings. “The design of the M3 Pro has been driven by feedback from a
significant number of golfers who said they loved our compact-folding technology, but would like to see additional performance features on the trolley too,” said chairman David Wells. “The new M3 Pro represents our most advanced trolley to date and is the product of over 12 months of research and development. “It’s the perfect option for
golfers who transport their trolley to the course in the boot of their car and who love to have handy features to use when playing,” added Wells.
Free app to help promote new Galvin Green collection
G
alvin Green is introducing a free app to give serious golfers
the full story behind the hi- tech performance garments in its 2014 spring/summer Collection. Free to download on all
iPhones, iPads and Android devices as part of the brand’s new Gear Up campaign, the App includes a movie filmed in a wind tunnel showing garments in the most extreme wet and windy conditions, as well as a store locator and news platform. The app also explains
Galvin Green’s Multi-Layer concept by showcasing key performance-related features. Golfers can also look in more detail at every garment and accessory within these four layers by clicking on tabs that take them straight to the men’s and ladies’ collections on the Galvin Green website. “With every new collection we strive for perfection and the app, the first
of its kind in golf apparel, gives golfers a detailed insight into the 2014 range,” said UK managing director Mike Johnson-Hill. “It allows serious golfers to delve further into the benefits of wearing layers of Galvin Green clothing, particularly in the most extreme playing conditions.”
