“Since the 2008 recession, brands are throwing less and less money at shows like ourselves. This has had a two-pronged effect due to the continued dominance of internet trading. We have seen a large decrease in footfall over the years but this is fairly typical of a consumer show. We have had to adapt and this includes creating a networking opportunity for the trade. “We aren’t making huge money but we are still swimming along.”
