About Alessandro Villa
Alessandro is a senior associate of Osborne Clarke based in the Milan office. He has been a key member of Osborne Clarke’s corporate team since joining in 1999.
He has worked in the corporate and M&A areas and spent a period of time in the firm’s Silicon Valley office advising, in particular, companies
interested in expanding their operations to Europe.
His work includes corporate and commercial
assistance, mergers
and acquisitions, corporate finance, cross-border transactions, demergers, equity issues, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations for both public and private companies with a particular focus on international transactions. He acts for a range of clients from large listed corporates to growth companies.
Alessandro is the co-author of the “Repertorio Antitrust" which for the first time codified the decisions of the Italian Antitrust Authority.
Alessandro considers that the key to successful transactions lies in building a relationship and understanding with his clients and developing a thorough understanding of the industries in which they operate. He has worked with many of his current clients for over a decade.
He has acted for key clients such as: Intermonte BCC Private Equity SGR pa, Rotork, Foresight, FAAC S.p.A., Solera Inc., and the most recent work in which he has been involved is advising Intermonte BCC PrIvate Equity SGRpa in the two divestment processes, Rotork plc in the acquisition of the Soldo Srl and in the acquisition of GT Attuatori S.p.A., GT Attuatori Europe Gmbh and Max Process GmbH.
Currently Alessandro is assisting an Italian north-east based in a huge corporate and financial
reorganisation and a
north-American based group in the acquisition of a couple of the Italian companies. Both clients are active in the automotive sector.
