Merging will also be demonstrating Ovation with Dataton’s Watchout – a multi-display production playback system. Midas is showing the complete line of its PRO series of digital consoles, as well as presenting its DN9610 AES50 multichannel digital audio network connector. Designed to extend AES50 multichannel digital audio network connections (Cat5e/Cat6 cabling) to greater distances than previously achievable, the DN9610 also operates with any AES50- compliant devices. Shure Europe is launching its range of Centraverse microphones. The family
consists of three models: a gooseneck, a boundary and an overhead. The CV12 (12”) and CV18 (18”) gooseneck condenser microphones have a cardioid polar pattern and an optional integrated mute button with related LED indicator; the CVB/BC boundary microphone is available in cardioid or omnidirectional polar patterns and black and white colour options; and the CVO installed sound hanging microphone is a professional condenser designed for overhead applications. Designed to cater to a wide
variety of loudspeaker power requirements in a ‘fast, flexible’ and space-efficient fashion, the SP-BOXX speaker connection boxes will be on show from Sommer Cable.

These 3”, 4”, 6” and 8” speakers are described as offering strong off-axis performance, easy installation and attractive styling. They are aimed at installers who need economical speakers for open-ceiling uses. Yamaha will be presenting
products from its Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) series. The first CIS series products include the MTX matrix processors, XMV multichannel amplifiers, VXC ceiling speakers and VXS surface mount speakers. Using Dante technology and Yamaha’s YDIF cascade bus, users are able to share audio and connect with all Yamaha CIS products, as well as other professional audio products on a digital audio network. Loudspeakers on show include the DSR, DXR and DXS series; and mixing consoles include the 2U rack-mount IMX644, the 01V96i digital mixers, and the compact MGP range. n
