LIFE WITH LILLIAN
MY OUTDOORS, MY UNIVERSE
creates real magic in our lives. Feng shui is primarily about living amongst good chi environments and those fortunate enough to have a garden are sure to benefit from making the effort to transform theirs into a place of natural beauty where the soul can relax and the body can rejuvenate. There is powerful energy flowing when you walk amongst healthy growing plants and hear the sounds of falling water. So plants and water features have always been part of good feng shui for hundreds of years.
T
The energy may be invisible, but it is potent, and always in a good way. This valuable energy is always available because it draws from the greater Universe of the skies and the atmosphere. You only have to walk amongst the oxygen-generating plants and flowers to feel the chi manifesting peace and bringing calm to your soul. Many condominium developments these days have also taken to creating beautiful and lush landscapes around their buildings and these do bring much better energy to residents than apartment buildings that rise without landscaping.
As a feng shui enthusiast conscious of cosmic energies, I have always paid attention to my outdoors, making sure they blend nicely into my indoor living. I like to take advantage of the tropical weather, which enables us to make so much of the great outdoors. Once again, here are pictures of some of the rejuvenated corners of my recently redesigned outdoors.

NEW HOME FOR MY AROWANAS Here is the incredible new waterfall and arowana fish pond I recently built to fill the space that used to be occupied by the taller trees of my garden. My five sword-tailed arowanas took to the new home literally like “fishes to water” and the bonus has been that they are fast-changing colour to a glorious pink. Above the pond are lovely statues of Kuan Yin, both of which were gifts given to me some years ago. Te lotus plants placed in the upper pond are doing extremely well as there is plenty of sunshine.
