My kitchen remodelled and extended with an marble island top.
Rearranging my feng shui adornments in my living area.
As an afterthought, I also changed the dining table, exchanging the round marble table that had been in my dining room before for a modern glass rectangular table that had been in my guest house previously. Happily, this too worked out well. Te dining room is where we spend a big part of our life together, as a family and with close friends. It is important
as being quite amazing feng shui of course! But with me up there as an Empress,
I could hardly leave out my husband, so I enlarged a picture of Wan Jin taken of him sitting in perfect lotus posture inside a grotto in Burma. Tis way it was me the Empress and he the Buddha, in the home we had built in 1976 and lived in till today. Quite the ode to ourselves, and why not indeed! For me, this is both sentimental and emotional, and the wall reminds me how lucky and happy we are and have been. Especially since next to us I place an exceptional Impressionist painting of a vase of flowers that had caught my fancy many years ago during my Hong Kong days!

that the room exudes harmony and happiness. Relationship feng shui must be conducive to there being contentment, joyousness and pleasure always.
MOVING ON TO THE LIVING AREA Now with the back half of my home looking so good, I realized that the living and foyer areas of the home also needed attention. But I was reluctant to overspend, so I limited any extra work to extending my white paint jobs further into the front part of the home. Tus all the cabinets and both the main doors (remember I have two main doors, one for my husband and one for me, because we belong to East and West
groups) were given several coats of the revitalizing white paint and the effect was pure magic! I now have such strong respect for house paint.
They can give such spectacular
results for relatively so little cost. As it turns out, the repainting made us shift the furniture around, hence causing us to move the chi through the house. Tis is one of the ways of improving the look and feel of any home, while moving the chi causes the energy in the home to get replenished and revitalized. I am already feeling the good results! The renovation and home
improvements took less than ten weeks, and I like the modern effect, which the repainted white colour seems to have given to my home. In feng shui, bringing new energy into any home effectively updates the Period energy, cementing for us the all-important Period 8 auspicious chi energies, which are at their zenith these next few years. Tis Period began in 2004 and will end in 2024… and homes that have the pure essence of Period 8 energies deeply engrained within their spirit enjoy continuous good fortune. Hopefully my strongly “invigorated” home will resonate strongly with the current period!
