at a feed rate of 1000 mm/min with marking depth of 0.1 mm. Marking tool allows mark- ing the workpiece while machining without the need for secondary marking operations. Part

numbers, date codes and even logos can easily be created with this scribing tool. Installs easily on machining centers or CNC lathes. No spindle rotation is required. System uses standard engraving software, but unlike engraving, scribing does not require the use of delicate cutting tools and high- speed spindles. Tapmatic Corp. Additive Manufacturing Systems

The AM125 and AM250 additive manufacturing systems use a laser melting process to produce fully dense metal parts direct from 3-D CAD data using a high-power fiber laser. Parts are built layer by layer, in thicknesses ranging from 20 to 100 µm, using a range of fine metal powders that are fully melted in a tightly controlled atmosphere. Key features include vari- able powder delivery, ultra-low oxygen content in the build atmosphere, and a safe-change filter system to minimize
