New WFSM Web Site Launched
The Wisconsin Foundation for School Music web site has a new look and format to help you learn more about the vital role the foundation plays in supporting school music programs in your community. Learn more about these programs at

Did you know…
WFSM is building the State Honors Music Project Endowment? Our dream is that someday all 700 students in the middle level and high school choirs, orchestras, bands and jazz ensemble will receive a full tuition grant when they are accepted into the program.
Launchpad Wisconsin, WSMA’s unique garage band competition, receives more than $70,000 in support from individuals like you, foundations, corporations and organizations who believe creating and perform- ing music is a valuable experience.
WFSM in partnership with the Steinway Piano So- ciety of Madison provides pianos through the Piano Bank program at no cost to qualified families. Music lesson tuition support is also available to qualified students through the generosity of multiple donors. Visit

You are the reason the Wisconsin Foundation for School Music (WFSM) exists!
Our role, along with our partner organizations, Wisconsin Music Education Association and Wisconsin School Music Association, is to connect even more students to music programs and services that are vital for our schools and our communities.
Since 1932, literally millions of Wisconsin music educators and stu- dents have participated in the Wisconsin State Music Conference, Solo & Ensemble Festivals, State Honors Music Project, Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance and innumerable other programs and professional development activities.
All of this is possible through committed support by people like you who believe that music education is a fundamental and vital component of a student’s education.
The foundation is building a broad base of support across Wisconsin through people whose lives have been touched by music.
