range. Building on the highly successful Commander family, the ControlMaster range now offers an even wider range of control and indicator functions in just four easy to specify versions. A key feature of the CM15 indicator and the CM10, CM30 and CM50 controllers is their full colour TFT display, providing operators with a clear and comprehensive display of process status and key information. Adjustment of the display via the customisation feature enables the operator to tailor their view to their requirements, while a chart display provides short term trending information. The use of a TFT display also makes the ControlMaster range extremely easy to configure. Configuration menus are displayed in clear text, with no complex codes or abbreviations found on controllers with lesser displays.

eleased in 1998, The Magnetrol International NV Eclipse® Model 705 was the first two wire guided wave radar on the market. The Eclipse® is type approved for steam drums, EN 12952-11 (water tube boilers) and EN 12953-9 (shell type boilers) as “primary safety” and “secondary safety”. Combined with a 7MS probe the device can be used in saturated steam applications at a pressure of 155 bar at an equivalent temperature of 345°C. It is possible to install two or even three Eclipse® devices on one external cage for specific applications. Even when installing only two devices in one cage a SIL3 safety level can be obtained. Adding a third device to the same cage assures continuity to the production process. The three obtained individual level signals increase the overall reliability.

year development, can monitor all types of environmental conditions such as temperature, vibration, pressure and flow, as well as gases such as methane, oxygen and carbon monoxide, all in one integrated package. Sentro 8 is ready to be configured to meet gas detection and condition monitoring requirements without the need for complex investment in system design or the need for specialist back-up. First
trialled in the tunnelling industry with great success, Sentro 8 has a number of key features including intelligent pre-calibrated sensing modules and integrated audible and visual alarm technology.
The
new website informs customers across all industries of the considerable benefits of the system such as reduced cabling, installation and commissioning costs, reduced maintenance costs and downtime and easy and fast calibration without the need to power down. At the heart of the Sentro 8 are the interchangeable modules - eModules for monitoring environmental gas concentrations and rModules for use with remote sensing devices. The website explains how each of the modules operates as well as providing system examples using a selection of sensors from the Trolex range.

wins best product innovation award
Awards, held at the Energy Solutions Expo 2010 in London. The companys ecosense, which monitors temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide levels and energy usage, was victorious in a category for products that noticeably improve the workplace.
