New High Speed GigE Cameras Announced

wo new high speed GigE cameras, available through STEMMER IMAGING, offer outstanding combinations of frame rates and resolution for use in applications as diverse as measurement, process analysis in machine building and industrial production, material testing and broadcasting. The CR3000x2 and CR4000x2 cameras from Optronis are available in monochrome and colour versions and also feature the new user-friendly TimeBench software for intuitive camera control. The CR3000x2 features a fast, progressive scan CMOS sensor that has a resolution of 1696 x 1710 pixels and a frame rates up to 100,000 fps depending on the resolution selected. The frame rate is 540 fps at maximum resolution, while at lower resolution frame rates are 1000 fps for 1200 x 1200 pixels, 5000 fps for 500 x 500 pixels, and 100,000 fps for 96 x 38 pixels. The CR4000x2 camera features a 4 megapixel image sensor with excellent sensitivity to light, making it ideal for imaging sequences in low light conditions. In addition to the applications listed above, the CR4000x2 can be used in ballistics applications.

The HS-556 has been designed to operate with Hansford industrial accelerometers but will also accept inputs from other sensors operating on piezoelectric techniques. The compact unit provides outputs of 4-20mA output for velocity or 'g' signals together with a buffered accelerometer output with DC bias. The HS-557 module offers an additional output, providing a 4-20mA for a temperature measurement range of 0 to 100°C sensed by either a PT100 or 10mV/°C temperature sensor. Both the compact units are DIN rail mounted for easy mounting within industrial enclosures where multi-channel monitoring is required. Both units have internal 2 pole Butterworth filters and operate from a 24V DC supply provided by the additional HS-570 module.
