Following in the footsteps of famous fell walker and guide writer Alfred Wainwright for the initial series of Wainwright Walks, we based ourselves in Keswick and we have stayed here ever since. The Northern Lakes gives you such good access to the surrounding countryside. The stunning scenery and magnificent mountains of The Lakes are unrivalled. It has become one of my favourite places to visit. I hope you enjoy exploring the valleys, climbing the crags, or just ambling gently along as much as I do. And you never know – I may just see you on the fells!
