Keswick Agricultural Show 29th August
Keswick Agricultural Show is traditionally held on August Bank Holiday Monday in a field on the western edge of town and features both commercial and charity stands. The show attracts large numbers of competitors, exhibitors and spectators and is a great day out for all the family.

Derwentwater Trail Race 4th September Starting and finishing in Keswick, the PUMA Derwentwater Trail Race and Puma Derwentwater Challenge is a 14km circuit along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways, taking in panoramic views of Lake Derwentwater and the surrounding peaks of the Skiddaw and Blencathra range and the northern lakeland fells.

Loweswater Show 4th September A more traditional style Agricultural
Show with the emphasis on Livestock. However, there are many other attractions, with a local theme. There are fell races for all ages, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, a superb local craft fair and a variety of trade stands. We recently added a vintage section to the show and this has proved a huge success.

Borrowdale Shepherds’ Meet and Show 18th September Visit the Traditional Friendly Show and Shepherds’ Meet of 2011. Watch the fell races, enjoy the sheep shearing and terrier competitions. See traditional crafts and try Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling!

Keswick Food Fayre and Christmas Lights Switch On 18th November This popular food fayre encourages its many visitors to sample true Cumbrian food in a traditional market square setting. Coupled with the festivities, see the switch-on of the Christmas lights.

The Keswick Traditional Christmas Fayre 4th December With lots of decorated charity stalls and a host of street entertainment, the Fayre marks the start of the Festive season in Keswick. The Christmas tree and shops are festooned with colourful lights and equally colourful local characters provide entertainment. The event is an occasion not to be missed.
