Koi one:
VARIETY: Kujaku SIZE: 42cm AGE: 2 years old SEX: Male BREEDER: Oofuchi An excellent Kujaku which is very lightly coloured, along with a strong clear head. Great looking fins compliment the all-round beauty of this koi.
Koi two: VARIETY: Kohaku SIZE: 35cm AGE: 1 year old
SEX: Unknown BREEDER: Maruyama The deep, strong Hi (red) is very pleasing against the white. The skin quality is excellent on this Kohaku, along with a pleasing pattern that should only improve as the fish grows and fills out. This is a fish for the future and a true Tategoi.
Koi three: VARIETY: Hi Utsuri SIZE: 49cm AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Female BREEDER: Shinoda This koi has a lovely body shape with lots of potential for the future (Tategoi). This is already a good size fish for a two-year-old, allowing time for the Sumi (black) to develop and band over. This is a very hard fish to produce as they can get broken Sumi within the Hi. More often than not they are purchased too complete too soon.
Koi four: VARIETY: Gin Rin Purachina SIZE: 36cm
AGE: 1 year old SEX: Female BREEDER: Tsuna This is a good example of a high quality female Purachina. With its stunning ginrin scales which simply sparkle in the sunlight this fish – with its good body shape and fin quality – is a must for every pond.
