What plans do you have for the summer season?
“I’ll be staying pretty much in Europe in the summer for
obvious reasons. I love Ibiza, and there are some places in
the south of France that I often play or, of course, Mykonos
and in the south of Italy.
"That tends to be the basic route — Italy, France, Spain,
Portugal and North Africa too. It’s really hot there, and I
mean hot to play and not just in terms of temperature!”
Which particular clubs will you be playing at?
“I’ll be in Ibiza with the Juicy nights, at Privilege, with
Robbie Rivera, and I’m doing Made In Italy, at Amnesia, and
hopefully, although it’s not completely confi rmed, I’ll be
playing Space.
“Tonight I’m heading to Norway. Benny Benassi played
there last night and called me to say, ‘You need to bring a
pullover’. So I have to go and buy one now! (laughs)”
Where do you like to chill out?
“Honestly speaking, I love Mykonos. But the last place I
went for a proper holiday was the Maldives, they’re great,
very beautiful, I love them. If you really wanna turn your
phone off it’s just that kind of place.
“But just getting a drink and watching the sunset in Ibiza is
what I love the most.”
Finally, what else is in the pipeline for you? "I’m going to work on a few new tracks for the Midem
“I’ve just fi nished a new single with Steve Edwards, who’s tradeshow and I’m going to remix a new Armin Van Buuren
sung with Bob Sinclar on 'World Hold On'. track and the forthcoming Benny Benassi single.”
