he three-day Sonar festival programme is pretty much the defi nitive annual event for cutting-edge electronic music.
But there’s additional magic to be found in the number of fringe parties that bookend the offi cial festival. Reach
into the full depths of Sonar’s fringe circuit and you’ll fast fi nd yourself lost in a club-hopping, sleep mocking esca-
pade of hilltop raving, dark room club sessions and sunkissed boat parties — like Europe’s classy and cosmopolitan
take on the Miami WMC format. Of course, like Miami WMC, the sheer volume of parties means you need to sort the killers from
