Laser Scanner


The RS3 upgrade package delivers a dramatic performance improvement for the ROMER Absolute Arm with integrated laser scanner. Vertical Bed Mill Model KMA-5H Vertical Bed Type Milling Machine features a travel range of 98 × 31.5 × 27.5” (2.5 × 0.8 × 0.7 m), a 106 × 30” (2.7 × 0.8-m) table and a 20-hp (15-kW) vertical head. The #50 taper vertical spindle is equipped with hi-low gear and high power frequency drive inverter to deliver high torque with vari- able speed change. The vertical head is driven by servomotor, allowing variable speed vertical travel. The KMA-5H is also equipped with a separate horizontal head mounted at the side of the column; the head moves up and down with a range of 27.5” (0.7 m) and is also driven by a servomotor to allow variable speed travel.
