SHOW OPTATEC

Laser Components will show its non-polarising beam splitters. For CO2

lasers, Laser

Components has ‘non-polarising’ beam splitters, designed to maintain the polarisation state of the laser beam for both the reflected and transmitted partial beam. The coating is applied to laser grade ZnSe, and achieves split ratio of 50±1 per cent at 10.6µm, while maintaining the polarisation state of the incident light. One of the several coating layers is germanium, making the coating opaque in the visible spectrum.

Non-polarising beam splitters

are suited for a laser intensity of <500W/cm². Exceeding this may give rise to thermal lensing effects. The company has a range of standard non polarising beam splitters of diameters between 25.0mm and 50.8mm available for quick dispatch, as well as

Precision Solutions will present the Interfire II 3-5 and Interfire II 10.6 interferometers. Together with the equipment on show, the company will have optical experts on hand to offer advice on practical use of these instruments. The Interfire II series of

infrared interferometers are available with a choice of lasers operating at 1.5µm, 3-5µm and 10.6µm wavelength ranges. They allow fringes to be obtained quickly and easily in either reflection or transmission. These easy-to-use instruments can be used for development, test, production, quality control or research applications. Excellent signal-to-noise ratio, combined with built-in phase analysis software, ensures rapid

and efficient measurement of wavefront aberration of thermal imaging lenses, optical homogeneity of infrared materials and flatness of optical surfaces.

The Interfire II family of IR

interferometers also features three different dual waveband configurations operating at 1.55/3.39µm, 3.39/10.6µm and 3.39/9.1-10.9µm tunable. These instruments incorporate two lasers into a single instrument, with an alignment laser built in to make set up quick and easy. These interferometers allow the customer to switch easily between wavelengths to suit their testing requirements. The most popular dual band configuration is the MWIR / LWIR system at 3.39µm and at 10.6µm. Precision Solutions will be at booth C33, Hall 3. www.mbdaps.com

Schneider-Kreuznach will present new magnetron sputtered longpass filters at this year’s Optatec. The existing series of longpass filters has been extended with four new wavelengths: LP 765 HT, LP 780 HT, LP 850 HT and LP 900 HT. The filters feature steep slopes and high transmission at stable cut-on wavelengths. Thanks to their extreme flat polished optical surface, the filters are ideally suited to high-end machine vision systems in factory automation. All longpass filters come with

anti-reflection coatings. The new longpass filters are part of the company’s portfolio of industrial filters comprising broadband and narrow bandpass filters, shortpass filters and UV-IR cut filters.

Schneider-Kreuznach will be at Booth E23, Hall 3 at the show. www.schneiderkreuznach.com

Photon Counting Solutions We supply photon counting solutions from AUREA & Vertilon.

AUREA’s modular approach enables a “system in a box” solution combining

visible and NIR photon counting systems, TDC and

picosecond pulse laser sources all controlled via a single touchscreen front panel or software interface. Their 1300nm & 1550nm entangled photon-pair sources are the first commercially available.

Vertilon’s PhotoniQ MCPC618 multichannel photon counting system is an easy-to-use instrument allowing direct connection to PMTs and SiPMs without the need for external preamplifiers.
