For one hundred years Stephens & George Print Group has been at the forefront of British printing. In 1912 David Stephens & William George established “Stephens & George - The Electric Press” at 20 Commercial Street, Aberdare, South Wales. They concentrated their efforts primarily on printing for Non Conformist chapels.


Now a century later, we are celebrating one hundred years in the industry. Still based in South Wales but in Merthyr Tydfil, we have expanded to include offices in London and Edinburgh resulting in S&G truly being a British company. Currently employing over 220 dedicated employees, our area of expertise is sheet-fed litho printing of magazines and commercial products.


I am honoured to say that we are a fourth generation, award winning organisation. We are steeped in tradition, and, proud of our heritage and unparalleled knowledge. We pride ourselves on the service we offer our clients and their printed publications. With the majority of our employees living in the local area we are extremely community focussed and make every effort to support local charities and initiatives.


Our continued investment, not only in state-of-the-art technology but also in our workforce, enables us to offer a superior service to you and your publications. With our printing, folding, saddle stitching, perfect and PUR binding, mailing plus our own fleet of vehicles, why not celebrate with us in our Centennial year. We are in this position of strength due to the continued support of our many clients and friends. Many of which have been with S&G for over twenty years and thank you to all of those who have shown such loyalty to us.


We can look back over the course of the past hundred years with pride and satisfaction. However, the future is what we need to concentrate on. Our performance levels and customer care have resulted in S&G becoming the “Standard Bearers in the Printing Industry”. We face the future with great confidence and enthusiasm ready to tackle whatever challenges lie ahead.
