include An Afternoon with Aquatic Industry Leaders featuring panel members including Christoph Kiessling (Siam Park), Chris Perry (WhiteWater) and Kenneth Ellis (Aquatic Development Group), the usually well-attended Emerging Trends in Immersive Design with Shawn McCoy (JRA) and Cynthia Sharpe (Thinkwell) and a Lunch & Learn examining Disney Springs from Concept to Completion. Tickets for the latter are $50/75 (IAAPA members/non- members). On Tuesday afternoon, the CEO Speaks panel discussion will feature contributions from Six Flags chief John Duffey, Chris Deere of Rainbow's End in New Zealand and Terri Adams from US waterpark operator Schlitterbahn. Later the same day, the IAAPA Hall of Fame Panel will feature the new inductees for 2016 along existing Hall of Famers Dick Nunis of Walt Disney World and Dick Kinzel of Cedar Fair fame. BRC Imagination Arts' Bob Rogers will be on duty as moderator. Addressing this year's GM and Owners'
Breakfast on Wednesday morning will be Plopsa Parks CEO Steve Van Den Kerkhof, explaining the IP-led strategy that has led to the group's success in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and (hopefully) soon Poland too. Tickets for this one are $99/135. Another paid-for session is the Amusement Parks and Attraction Lunch with a keynote address from Apex Parks president and CEO Al Weber. If you're not attending the IAAPA Brass Ring Awards (4.45-6.00pm), then you could do worse than round off Wednesday afternoon by attending Legends 2016: The Making of Shanghai Disney Resort, featuring contributions from Craig Russell, Marty Sklar, Bob Weis and Doris Woodward. Bob Rogers will be asking the searching questions as only he can. On Thursday morning, lawyer Lisa Ellman will be discussing Experiences with Drones: Opportunities and Challenges while Michael McSparran from San Diego Zoo present a seminar addressing Increasing Revenue with Mobile Technology. A pertinent session looks likely to be Thursday afternoon's Exploring Security Best Practices For Amusement Parks and Attractions with contributions from representatives of Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, Six Flags, Walt Disney and Hershey Entertainment. (OCCC) from Monday to Friday – November 14 to 18 – the event will provide attractions industry leaders, decision makers and also those just beginning their career with all they need to take every guest experience to the next level. The trade show, which kicks off on Tuesday (15th)

promises over 1,000 indoor and outdoor exhibitors, spread across more than 525,000-net-square-feet (48,774 sq m) of space. Whilst the show opens each day at 10am, the showbiz style Kickoff Event starts at 8.30 in the IAAPA Theater, were there will be industry reports from many corners of the globe, plus the presentation of the 2016 IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards. More than 80 seminars will take place while the show is in full swing, available to all Expo badge holders, but there will also be additional free and paid-for education opportunities across the week, starting from Monday (see panel, left). If you're in the right hotel, such as the Hyatt Regency or
the Hilton adjoining the convention centre, then the networking opportunities begin the moment you arrive, but official events during the week include Sunday's (November 13t) IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament and 7th Annual Motorycle Ride, Monday night's invite-only Chairman's Reception and both the Opening Reception and Young Professionals Reception on Tuesday. On Thursday morning you could help raise some money for a good cause by taking part in the IAAPA Charity 5K Run and 1 K Walk at Give Kids The World Village. Other than the early start (6.45!) it should be a cinch; after all you'll walk much more than that during the week on the Expo show floor. Whatever your industry sector or part of the world, there

is also likely to be a dedicated networking event for you during IAAPA Attractions Expo. These include the Water Park Operators' Networking Event and FEC Reception on Monday evening, Operators' Roundtable Lunch, Opening Reception and Young Professional Reception on Tuesday, EMEA Reception (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Latin America Reception and Waterpark Social on Wednesday, and the Asia-Pacific Breakfast and Canadian Breakfast on Thursday. Other parties and receptions during the week will be hosted in and around International Drive from the likes of the TEA (Themed Entertainment Association), Blooloop, BRC Imagination Arts, The Hettema Group and Premier Rides/Ripley Entertainment. Ask these companies nicely and they might just put you on the guest list! Behind-the-scenes access to local attractions will be
offered to Expo attendees during the week at events including the signature IAAPA Celebrates at SeaWorld Orlando on Thursday evening, tickets to which are $109/149 (IAAPA members/non-members). On Sunday evening (November 13) there is a tour to Fun Spot America off International Drive, on Monday morning buses leave the OCCC at 7.30 for a Zoo and Aquarium Day at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, while on Wednesday evening there's a chance to examine SeaWorld Orlando's Retail and Games Operations. On Thursday morning theres a tour of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, focusing on waterpark operations, while on Friday there's an opportunity to examine Walt Disney World's Transportation Operations. Several of the above events are likely to sell out in
