Gardaland Adventure Hotel


After a soft opening last month, Gardaland Resort now boasts a second familly- friendly hotel. The new €25 Gardaland Adventure Hotel is billed as the first fully-themed hotel in Italy and features a total of 100 rooms in a choice of four styles: Jungle, Arctic, Wild West or Arabian. Guests enter the property by passing through a 25m-long steampunk inspired


submarine structure. Even the hotel reception is little unusual, styled like an ancient library, with bokshelves and original early 20th century objects all around.


Highlights of the themed rooms include comfortable babooo beds in the Jungle Adventure rooms, igloos in the Arctic Adventure rooms, flying carpets and magical lamps inside the Arabian Adventure rooms and a fake cell complete with bars for naughty kids sleeping in the Wild West Adventure rooms. A separate building is home to the Tutankhamon Restaurant, where hotel


guests and non-guests alike can dine among the walls of an ancient and imposing Egyptian temple as they choose from either the à la carte menu or a selection of pizza. Every evening a live show will add to the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Adventure Hotel is roughly a 20 to-30-minute walk from the Gardaland front gate. A free shuttle bus connects all three during park opening hours. So far this season, combined hotel bookings are up by 46% across Gardaland Resort compared to the same period last year with just one hotel. Around 40% of those staying on site are foreign tourists.
