Hurricane Force 5 (Zamperla Disk ‘O)
Fireball brings the heat to Six Flags
St Louis One of the latest Giant Loop rides from Larson International to open at a Six Flags park is now operational at Six Flags St Louis in Missouri. The Fireball ride seats up to 24 park guests, accommodated in “face-off” seating as they roll back and forth, pendulum style, and build up speed to propel the train head over heels through a series of revolutions of the attraction’s single 72ft/22m loop. Mid-way through the ride, passengers are paused upside down for some inverted hang time before reversing directions. The operator controls the ride with a joy stick so each ride can be different.

Three new rides for 2016
A new area featuring three rides is now available for the enjoyment of guests at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio. Headlining the line-up at Fiesta Bay
Boardwalk is Fireball (Giant Loop) from Larson International, a twin of the ride with the same name installed this season at Six Flags St Louis (see story elsewhere on this page). Also from Larson comes Spinsanity, a modern adaptation of a traditional Tilt- A-Whirl. Finally, Hurricane
Force 5 is a Zamperla Disk ‘O, rotating both clockwise with its signature motorcycle- style outward-facing seating. The 24-
passenger disc spins at up to 14 revolutions per minute. Believe it or not, this is the first Disk ‘O attraction in Texas!

Zero G comes to
Indiana Beach Located in the US state of the same name, Indiana Beach will kick off its 90th anniversary season later this month with the addition of a Fireball from Larson International called Zero G. The looping and reversing ride stands 58ft (18m) tall and can carry 20 riders at one time. The machine builds riders’ anticipation as it rocks back and forth before looping 360°, pausing briefly to suspend riders upside down. Zero G is located on Indiana Beach’s classic Boardwalk Funway and was relocated from SpeedZone Dallas, a sister Apex Parks property. Opening on May 27, Indiana Beach’s remarkably short season comes to a close on September 18.
