The opening of Ferrari Land at PortAventura brings a new dimension to popular Spanish park


fastest roller coaster - Intamin’s Red Force, which will not only dominate the skyline, but is sure to attract hardcore riders and petrolheads alike. The park is no mere one hit wonder, however, boasting a total of 11 new attractions across its 70,000 square metre site. That’s in addition to the PortAventura park’s five themed hotels, a convention centre, three golf courses and a beach club.


A Central to the park’s concept is the Ferrari Experience


where families can completely immerse themselves in two Ferrari brands, GT and F1, through a number of different attractions. Ferrari Gallery for instance is an impressive space inside Ferrari Experience where visitors can enjoy an interactive tour and learn more about the legendary Ferrari motorsport team. Speed, as you might expect, is the central theme behind


the Ferrari experience and the Red Force ride, now Europe’s highest and fastest roller coaster, accelerates to 180 km/hour in only five seconds while reaching a height of 112 metres. And as well as being a crowd-pulling attraction it also serves as a visual focal point being tall enough to be visible from several kilometres away.
