4 OX: MIXM8 MIXING PADDLES – HEX / M14
The MixM8 MIXING PADDLES from OX are guaranteed to deliver a faster mix even using a cordless drill (min 18V), meaning less effort is required to achieve a smoother final mix. The paddle has a long life guarantee and are easy to clean. The design achieves edge to edge mixing, eliminating the need to stop and stir. 10mm Shaft version firsts a standard chuck and can be used with a standard 18V cordless drill – no need for power on site when mixing. The MixM8 MIXING PADDLES are also available with 14mm threaded end for a two handed mixer.

5 PLASSON: EXTENDED 10017 PUSHFIT UNIVERSAL RANGE
To meet demand for a fast, simple and safe connection of water supply pipes to households, Plasson have extended their already successful 10017 pushfit Universal range to now include a Universal connection to 22mm copper/PB/PEX. Available in three universal sizes as before, this new fitting replaces the 25mm MDPE connection by using the firmly established Plasson pushfit ‘C’ type connection. This ensures any of the three commonly used domestic 22mm plumbing pipes can be simply pushed through the O-ring and multi-use grip ring, assuring the installer of compatibility to 22mm pipe. On the Universal side 14mm – 18mm, 19mm-22mm and 24mm-28mm can connect to MDPE, Alkathene, Polybutylene, Copper, Lead, Galvanised and PEX whilst the innovative double O-ring seal even compensates for poor pipe quality. With a robust Polypropylene body and nut the 10017 range provides total reliability and immense impact strength together with WRAS approval and a 50 year design life.

6 MAKITA: SLIDE BATTERY FOR 10.8V TOOL RANGE
Makita has launched a new range of ‘CXT’ 10.8V tools which feature a slide battery as an addition to their current range of 10.8V tools with the cluster style batteries. The new batteries have multi-contact terminals to ensure stable contact even under extreme work vibration conditions. The slide batteries fit easily into the tools and the new chargers have the same high level of structural strength as well as having built-in protection to prevent overload or over discharging. Tools are supplied with 2.0Ah batteries, with 4.0Ah available. New batteries have protection overload
circuitry, will operate down to -20°C and have a four stage LED fuel gauge indicator. The DC10SA charger has a fan cooling system that cuts charging time to just 20 minutes for the 2.0Ah battery. The new 10.8V slide battery is fitted to the latest ‘CXT’ range of tools which includes a Combi Drill, Drill Driver, Impact Driver, Reciprocating Saw and 85mm Circular Saw.
