The neoprene/rubber waterproof Buckbootz BBZ S5 safety boots feature structured Aerospence honeycomb breathable linings and detachable cushion insoles. The shoes feature a distinctive safety side flash and a hi-vis lining which rolls down for heightened visibility and safety.
Cold insulation certification has been added to the shoes, which means that they operate with comfort to temperatures of -17deg C for minimum periods of 30 minutes. The outsoles are made from cleated lightweight rubber and are slip resistant certified to meet the maximum SRC standard.Other features of the shoes include: antistatic, heat resistant rubber outsole to 300deg C, oil resistant rubber outsole, steel midsole and toe cap. The boots are available in sizes 5/39 – 13/47.
3 MARSHALLS: ARRENTO VITRIFIED PAVING
Marshall’s Arrento vitrified paving is a new range of high performance paving that will stand the test of time. Combining class leading strength and technical excellence the paving slabs are available in a range of six colours designed specifically for the UK market. Colours are cream, beige, bronze, silver, grey and black. The paving is easy to clean and resistant to mould and moss, salts and chlorines. They are frost resistant, slip resistant and resistant to loads. With the goal of ‘increasing basket size’, all Arrento Vitrified Paving customers will also require: Marshalls Primer, Marshalls Virtrified Paving Jointing Compound, a high quality diamond or vitrified cutting disc, which are all sold separately. The product is also available through Stonemarket, Marshalls’ sister company.

IKO PLC launched two product developments to the New Product Showcase - the IKO Britorch Torch-On Cap Sheet and the IKO Easyseal Self-Adhesive System. The IKO Britorch Torch-On Cap Sheet is a premium product for flat and sloping roofs, with a 20-year material guarantee. Versatile and strong, it is non-woven polyester-reinforced and can be used with IKO’s existing range of underlays. IKO’s Easyseal System is a high-performance, BBA-approved system for use on flat-roofed domestic buildings. The built-up felt system has a 20-year life expectancy and consists of three self-adhesive products: an 8m Underlay, 6m Top Sheet and a 15m Vapour Control Layer (VCL). IKO’s 15m Easyseal VCL (Vapour Control Layer) can be used with both flame-free and torch-on warm systems on kitchens and bathroom roofs, where a high resistance to water vapour rising from the dwelling is required to protect the insulation. Only basic skills and tools are required so it’s ideal for experienced contractors or DIY-ers.
