mong many other products, GEA presented the semi-hermetic screw compressor CompaX as part of the


Grasso X package. It is aimed at seasonal refrigeration applications and fl exible capacity requirements. This Grasso X package consists of three CompaX semi-hermetic compressors. Available as a single compressor package and optionally with two, three or four compressors in parallel, it off ers a capacity range from 395 to 1,900 kW (R717 | - 10/+35 °C | 6,000 rpm) as well as fl exibility, availability and redundancy. Together with the large variable speed range up to 6,000 rpm, the X-package can be operated in all (partial) load ranges with virtually no loss


of effi ciency. Based on the semi-hermetic screw compressor models GEA CompaX 350 and 400 without shaft seals, the package is a safe and reliable solution for the use of ammonia, enabling to reach effi ciencies to fulfi ll the Eco Design regulations. The ultra-compact footprint, another important parameter in the design of the package, facilitates the refurbishment of engine room, for example. A future-proof, effi cient and safe solution with minimal space requirements, maintenance eff ort and overall risks. With an ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP) of zero, ammonia is a particularly climate-friendly


refrigerant and also a particularly effi cient one. It has excellent thermodynamic properties, which are refl ected in very high effi ciencies and correspondingly low operating costs.

remote cabinets.

require connection to a central refrigeration plant, confi rming their suitability for small retail spaces. Epta’s propane R290 Integral solutions, available with air-cooled (Air) or water-cooled (Waterloop) condensation, feature a fully integrated refrigeration unit pre-assembled within the cabinet. Integral technologies, emblematic of the Group’s technical and engineering expertise, combine the modular approach and energy performance standards of remote cabinets with the same ease of installation as plug-ins, ensuring that product display remains unchanged. The transcritical CO2


remote cabinets, now in


their fourth generation, underscore the Group’s leadership in CO2


refrigeration. Additionally, glycol-based counterparts are also available,


using a natural refrigerant to cool glycolated water within the refrigeration plant, which is then distributed to the remote systems.


From concept to reality Epta’s stand guided visitors through a selection of the Group’s solutions, all under the Costan and Bonnet Névé brands. On display for the propane plug-in series was the positive vertical model Tango/MultiFresh from the SlimFit/MultiCity range, which, in specifi c confi gurations, achieves energy class A and delivers 40% energy savings compared to the previous model. For the propane Integral solution, Epta


presented the GranVista Integral Ultra/SkyView Integral Perform and GranBering Integral Ultra/ SkyLight Integral Perform models.
