After the talks, Mr Abadie led a traditional Japanese Sake celebration to open the sake barrels and invited all the guests to partake and join in the toast to Panasonic and its customers. The second event was a tour around the hotel in which the delegates all stayed – Hotel OD Port Portals. The hotel is installed with Panasonic
ECOi two way and GHP ECO G plus DHW solutions, which have helped to reduce energy usage by 73% and contributed to signifi cant cost savings in comparison to if solar panels had been installed.
The third and fi nal part of the convention was the Panasonic exhibition at the Palau de Congressos which showcased products from many of Panasonic’s divisions, from a high-end television that appeared to fl oat up from its resting place, to smart controls in the home, to digital cameras with amazing picture quality and zoom lenses.
Tony Nielsen, UK marketing manager for Panasonic Heating and Cooling led the tour around the heating and cooling section. Featured products launching into the UK in 2018 included CO2
